Signing on

• Why can I only sign in Facebook, Twitter and Google?
  As the most common used accounts we found it easiest for the user to quickly login.
  
  
• What information are you getting from my profile?
  Please see our Terms and Conditions for detailed information.
  
  
• Can I switch which account I sign in with after starting my account?
  Yes. If you log out, you will be given the option to login using another account. For Facebook and Twitter we always use the Facebook account you're signed into on their apps.
  
  
• I'm having problems signing in, what do I do?
  Verify you are properly signed in to the social account you signed in with on your device.
  
  
• Can I change my username after I've signed in?
  Yes. You can change your username at any time in My Profile. What must remain consistent is the social account you sign in with.
  
  

Sharing Images

• What other services can I share my images on?
  You can share to Instagram, Facebook and Twitter along with all share enabled apps on your device.
  
  
• Will this app automatically post to my Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or Google+ feed?
  Posting to the Cats In Hats only posts within the app. It will only post to the third party apps if you select them after tapping "Share on social."
  
  
• Who can see my images?
  All images are public which means they are visible to anyone using Cats In Hats when you post it to the app. You can always create a cat in a hat and share it via your personal accounts on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter but we'd love to see them in our feed as well!
  
  
• Can I put hats on things other than cats?
  Yes, as long as it does not violate our Terms and Conditions and there is an animal in the photo. We strongly encourage only cats, since this is a Cats In Hats app, but enjoy seeing other animals. If an image does get posted without an animal in it, it will most likely get flagged. Our community is rigid like that.
  
  
• What if I see an inappropriate or offensive image?
  Please use the flag icon in the upper right corner of the image in the app or contact us with the username associated to the image.
  
  

Deleting Stuff

• How do I delete my account?
  Go into Settings in the app and click on "Deactivate account" at the bottom of the screen.
  
  
• How do I delete the account of someone who is deceased?
  Please contact us and we will reach out with proper steps. Please send the username and any information you may find useful.
  
  
• If I delete a photo can it be recovered?
  No. We do not keep images you create on our servers after you've deleted them.
